ROOT CANAL TREATMENT IS DONE FOR TEETH WHEN THE NERVE HOUSED INSIDE EACH INDIVIDUAL TOOTH (PULP)  IS AFFECTED DUE TO CARIES/DECAY. A ROOT CANAL TREATMENT SAVES A TOOTH AND GIVES ONE THE ADVANTAGE OF PROLONGING THE LIFE OF THEIR TOOTH. IN CASE A TOOTH IS DECAYED BEYOND REPAIR, REMOVAL (EXTRACTION)  OF THAT TOOTH BECOMES NECESSARY. Tartar is a hardened layer of plaque that forms on the teeth. Plaque is a biofilm of bacteria present on tooth surfaces.
